Hammoon Manor...

Hammoon Manor Barn seeks to define the meaning of luxury self-catered accommodation.

A 5 Star Gold Award-winning, listed barn conversion in the heart of Thomas Hardy's 'Vale of Little Dairies' and only two and a half hours from Central London, Hammoon Manor Barn is surrounded by gardens, and forms part of the historic Manor House (one of the largest thatched Manor Houses in England). With its original art, open beams, stone floors and woodburners, Hammoon Manor Barn has been lovingly restored to provide a place of contemporary luxury, charm, and character, 'Far from the Madding Crowd' and the perfect base to explore Hardy's hidden England.

What Our Guests Say...

"This is a stunning location. The house is breathtaking and the grounds are tranquil. You can walk to the river directly from the property, which is a gorgeous thing to do any time of day. The house is exactly as advertised in the photos and the gardens are even more stunning in real life. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat".

"You only find a place like this once in a blue Hammoon!  We have enjoyed a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing week staying in the Walled Garden. A beautifully and very thoughtfully appointed property that made our stay a really lovely time. We managed to walk or drive to many of Dorset's stunning countryside attractions but also enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the property's walled gardens and extensive grounds. Definitely a place to revisit!"

"A Wonderful stay in a beautiful barn conversion. Fabulously comfy beds and well-designed stylish bathrooms with great water pressure. Our two boys loved the grounds and the generously provided fresh eggs from the friendly resident chickens. A truly beautiful little idyll and a very convenient base to tour Dorset and Somerset"

"The sky was clear, remarkably clear,
and the twinkling of all the stars
seemed to be but throbs of one body,
timed by a common pulse."
